Glad you are back! When I was in Los Angeles, I managed to visit every site I wondered about as a small kid and photograph it. Sunset Boulevard has been more than 50% restored. There are many theatres from the 1930's that are boarded up. I hope these too will be restored for camera lovers like me!

I really appreciate you posting the beautiful pictures of St. Clare Catholic Church. My husbands family lived in Colesburgh in the 1870's. Do you know who I can contact to see if there are any church records of them? The name is Michael Gorman, born 1827, died in Colesburgh after the 1880 census. He was an Irish immigrant.

A very large crowd is expected to with Archbishop Joseph Kurtz celebrating the Mass. A dinner will be served with live music on the grounds. Old photos of pertaining to St. Clare and the town of Colesburg will be on display in the community hall. All descendants of former Colesburg residents are invited to attend.

Hi Barbara, I was wondering if you were able to take the pictures you wanted to at the Bicentennial anniversary and if you saw any tombstones of Gorman's or Dean's?
Thank you

Hi Shannon Gorman,

When using Google do a search on St Clare Church Colesburg KY. It will give you the link to Images by Barbara Ann on Webshots. You will find all the photos I took of the Bicentennial.

I have about 300 photos of the tombstones in St Clare Cemetery. So far I have not found a Michael Gorman. I have only been able to work on the front part of the cemetery and I have not finished that area. There is a section that is on the back portion of the driveway that I have not taken. I have spent about an hour or so when I have taken photos. I still have to work up a list of all the tombstones on Excel. Work still in progress. Feel free to email me at imagesbybarbaraann@yahoo.com
