Saint Vincent de Paul Church Nazareth, Ky

The cornerstone of the church had been laid in September of 1850. The style of the church is French Gothic with two towers. It was designed by an architect William Keely. There are two large stained-glass windows which were made in Munich. At the entrance of the church are two massive weathered oak doors. Outside the north door is the simple Gothic cloister passageway from the Church to the Convent of the Sister of Charity of Nazareth. On the lawn stands a bronze statue of St Vincent de Paul, patron of the Sisters of Charity. The Stations of the Cross are rare oil paintings by Costigini.
